1994-95 – Change

1994-95 – This year sees us traveling as much as possible to raise our support. I also am able to once again begin work on my doctorate at Trinity Evangelical Seminary.

1995

We receive word that the rebels have entered Gbendembu and burned our house down. They are using the bible school as a base of operations for their activity. A number of the church people are taken to the church and killed. One of the students’ wives was in that group. The one ray of light is that all of our missionaries are able to escape and return to the USA.

In April we receive a letter asking us to go to Papua New Guinea. Nancy is not thrilled by the idea, but the Lord speaks to her, and we agree to go.
