2011-2012 – Home Ministry
We return to the USA in time to attend Jeff and Heather’s wedding.
Book 25 – Kids in the Kingdom 1 – In the past we have been asked to provide lessons for children on missions. We have decided that material of this nature needs to be developed for Latin America.

We start the fall living in a house in Burnsville. After seeing how Perry’s parents are doing, we decide to buy a house in the Minneapolis area. After seeing more than 100 houses we finally sign the papers to buy a house near Perry’s brother Dan’s house. Over Thanksgiving we move Perry’s parents to Minnesota. While we remodel the house, we all live with Dan and Julie.
The cancer has returned, and Nancy is hoping that by the time we return to Panama it will be back in remission. We are also busy traveling visiting churches.
2012

In January we are allowed to travel to Panama to help host the international conference that is held there.

Jess graduates with her master’s degree and gets a job at a special school for children with unique needs.
We are able to attend the General Conference held in Michigan.

It is time to return but the cancer is not in remission, so we ask for a four month extension which is granted. During the next 4 months Perry makes two trips to Panama to teach a class for students in the pastoral training program and begin construction of a two-story addition the house. This is to give us space to receive visitors who come for training and participation in various training events in Panama.
Book 20 – Extreme Training – This book comes from the topic that Perry is asked to present at the Jibacam Congress. The focus is on what God does to prepare people to serve in the kingdom and missions. It includes a study of 30 people prepared by God.
