2010 Missionary Awakening Camp – this was the first of these camps that I attended. this camp is for everyone. There have been many people from other countries. It has resulted in similar camps in at least 3 other countries.
2017 Missionary Awakening Camp – this was the first camp that I included an international food. It was peanut soup from Sierra Leone. Pastors and church leaders also attend as campers.
2018 Missionary Awakening Camp – this year the food was pepperpot and cassava bread from Guyana. Another key feature of my time was that I would change many of the rules for the camp.
2019 Missionary Awakening Camp – This year the food was curry and roti and my good friend Vicktram came and helped me with its preparation. Another key feature of the camp is that all campers have to turn in all electronics at the beginning of the camp.
2022 – Missionary Awakening Camp – After a 2 year break of holding the camp virtually it resumed with the on sight program. The food this year was falafel and a unique bread. This is a camp for people of all ages from 14 up to 80+.
2023 – Missionary Awakening Camp – This year the food was borscht (Russian) and chechebsa (Ethiopian). A key focus of the camp has been the discipling of leaders. Many of the campers of a past camp serve as leaders in the next camp.
