Missive
Missive 00
Thank you to all who have responded to my new plan for communication. Life is changing and that means adapting as needed. So my new format for this will be called Missive. A missive is a note or message that contains important information. In this case the information will be relate to what continues to do through you and as a result of your support and encouragement through me.
Keep an eye open for the first in the new communications under the heading of Missive

Greetings to all,
I trust you are all doing well. We have enjoyed our first snowfall here but it didn’t last. Still it turned everything white and looked peaceful. A good sign as we enter the season of celebrating the coming of the one who brought peace to all mankind.
God is blessing and I have some great news.
New mission work in Iberoamerica.
1. Nicaragua – they have just sent a young lady as a missionary to Belize. Please be in prayer for her as she begins the process of getting settled and making contacts. I hope to have more details in the near future.
2. Costa Rica – A couple of young ladies will be traveling to Kenya for three months next year to explore the possibilities of future ministry and opportunities. I have been able to connect them with a key leader in the area from the Wesleyan Church there.
Other fields – I hope to be able to post more information about what is happening with all of the missionary bases soon. In the meantime here is a little.
1. Amazonas – they will be holding their first graduation of students in the pastoral training program in December. Pray for the students as they begin whatever ministry God is calling them to.
2. Spain – They are organizing a special opportunity for people to come and share in a short term missions event in Spain. Pray that God will call people and they all the planning will go smoothly.
Prayer points
1. Pray for the couple going to Alaska. They are ready to go but are waiting on approval of her visa.
2. Pray for me as I travel to Colombia next week to participate in the missionary awakening camp. The theme this year is conquering in Christ. Pray for the leaders as they deal with final preparations, for the campers that God will speak to them, and for me as I travel and share with them what God has laid on my heart.
3. Thank you for your prayers. I recently finished an eight week course on the Spiritual World with the Christian Missionary Alliance bible school in Buenos Aires. There were 24 students and it was truly a pleasure to be part of this opportunity. As a side note the men’s bible study I lead here chose to use one of the materials for the study. We have had some very good times of discussion and learning.
4. thank you for your prayers. I was able to finish writing the material on wellness. It is now being edited. My latino coworker in this material has begun the process of preparing practicums based on the material. We are also seeing great advances throughout the region in organizing the ministry teams to care for pastors and missionaries. This is very encouraging and a critical step in maintaining the health spiritually, emotionally, socially, as well as physically of those serving in these key areas of ministry.
Finances
Thank you for your generosity. It is making it possible for me to continue to share and teach in some very interesting settings. If you are interested in helping financially with my ministry see the footnote below.
Long range –
Uganda – I had a very productive conversation with the national leader. Pray for everything that will be involved in meeting some key educational needs for pastors and youth in the country.
Quadrennial regional conference – plans are well underway for this combined event. The regional conference of Iberoamerica and the missions congress which will be held in Osorno, Chile in November of 2026.
I could fill more space with all that God is doing and will try to include more in the next letters. Also be sure to check out the phministry.org site as well. I am hoping that soon you will be able to sign up to receive automatic notices when new items appear on the website.
May God continue to bless as we unite in carrying out the work given to us of reaching everywhere with the Good News.

Missive Prayer request – 2025-05-11
I have two important prayer requests for you today.
- Cristian and Paula along with their daughter are on their way to Spain to serve as missionaries from Iberoamerica. They will land sometime later today. Pray with me that God will lead them as they start the work they have been given of planting churches and establishing a retreat and training center for missionaries heading to Europe and North Africa.
- Uganda – Today I sent a note to the national leader of our church in Uganda expressing my willingness to do more teaching on missions for our churches there. Please be in prayer for God’s guidance in the process of working out the details. I have suggested a date of September 2026.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
Blessings Perry J
